I guess he can be, seeing that Bush hasn't been inaugurated yet, and he won't be until January. I think the concession thing is more ceremonial and to show that the candidate feels he has lost, but I may be wrong.

How many soldiers do you think would write to Michael Moore of positive experiences in Iraq? It's like talking to George Soros about how great a president Bush has been...

Did you notice the ads to the right and left of the article? It is for Air America, the "European Left" and other Liberal/Democratic outlets. That doesn't really discredit this, but it shows that the author wants with all his heart Kerry to win. Also, I have never heard of this website, nor are any major, credible news sources saying this, so I highly doubt it's true. I think we all know that if any evidence of a possible Kerry victory were to come up,

I understand that no one would like their country being trampled on by a foreign nation, much less America, but we call them "terrorists" and not "resistance fighters" because they use TERRORISM. Hence the name "terrorists." Resistance fighters do not rush into a crowded market with women, children, and old people in it, enjoying themselves, with a suicide belt strapped on ready to evaporate the whole crowd. Resistance fighters do

Alright, I had a REALLY strange dream a few nights ago, and I thought I might as well share. I had a dream that I was walking in the street, and a lady ran up to me crying and screaming 'Cheney has died! Dick Cheney has died!' So, I started sobbing and went to my gymnasium (?). Everybody was gathered there and mourning for Cheney, and the whole country was plunged into a week of sadness for his passing. I asked the woman who told me h

Hmm. A political IQ test might actually be an alright idea. The only problem is the ACLU would viciously attack anyone who wanted to pass it. It should be required that the voters at least know a little on each issue before they vote. The lady I wrote this on isn't really dumb...just...challenged in some areas. If you gave her an IQ test she wouldn't do so badly. However, a political IQ test, and WHOA. Do you know Edith Bunker from All

Yeah, I realized that, but sadly, she didn't. And I thought it was terribly clever of me to use a water bottle--something she might understand, rather than large statistics. Oh well, perhaps not clever enough. (sigh²)

For years my father had a terrible job, barely enough money to support the family. But he escaped depression. He knew he would one day find a better job and let his family live the way they wanted to live. He worked hard, worked hard to achieve his goal, achieve his dreams, and live up to his family's expectations. Because of his motivation to do better, we lived better. That is how it is in Capitalist nations. Because the people need to work

If Islam is evil because of beheadings, that means Christianity is evil because of the Inquisition, no? but my own personal belief is all of islam is evil and all people that follow the Quran/Koran are evil: I have a close Muslim friend. Does that mean I am friends with an evil person? I am off

No...because there is no secular source that confirms there is a God to have written it. I myself do not believe in God, so I don't think I am the best person to answer questions directed to a Christian audience.

If I may add something, I don't agree with Bush's style of diplomacy --if you can call it that--but I disagree with Kerry's idea that we should do as we are told, listen to the UN, and go plant some flowers. Can I make this point again: Don't the other 5.7 billion people of the world have their own leaders to look out for them? Why should Bush or Kerry have to do all the work-they should only have to do some. America has a responsibili

I understand your point that a US President must look out for world interests... but don't the 5.7 billion other people have their own leaders to help them? Why does the American president have to pick up some other lazy leader's slack? That is the thing I don't like about Kerry; he'd seek French, German, Russian, and Chinese approval before he would do anything. He'd grovel to the corrupt and fairly incompetent UN, and possibly put American i

Moore says some pretty stupid stuff Sometimes ? I'm not a Republican or a Conservative, nor am I a Democrat or Liberal. It is interesting to see things from the center. I think anyone should distance themselves from these extremist loons.
