So... are you doing this for your own personal use or is it something you plan to redistribute ( with the original authors permission ). IMO a WIP post for a personal use redux??? meh...
Phoon
pretty amusing. Having slayed many many many dragons already in Skyrim I think I'll be Ok having seen it. It will be interesting to see what further mods come out for this game. I've enjoyed a few so far.
I agree with Doc's comment. I think using that name would not be appropriate and a better choice is out there to be had :)
SLOWLY... put down your crack pipe and step away from your computer. My take: Unless our trusted Frogboy stepped out to the local swamp and took that picture himself and had it copyrighted, then there is no infringement.
If it helps, I'm not using any Windowblind. Does it work without it for you or is it still borked?
I intend to be around in 2053 so's I get a telegram from the queen
(telling him that it's time he finally changes his stinky underthings..) LOL
dang, sorry to hear that RND. It all works great for me. There are soooo many parameters and options on this app I wouldn't know where to start troubleshooting with you.
A little FYI for those that use Display Fusion. You should already know this if you have auto updates turned on but in case not.. This utility is a lifesaver for me since I have 2 different size displays. I use it to be able to set a different wallpaper on each desktop, or use the same one but sized independently. Another nice feature: You can change your logon/logoff screen without the need for additional software. Get it here!&
Perhaps I can dig deep on come up with another Unstoppable force meets an unmovable object type of issue for you!!!
I just think that posting something locked except for mod comments is kind of wrong.
Not at all. It wasn't meant as a "post" in the typical sense. It's a Sticky (pinned) announcement and a function usually meant for site admins to post rules/news/etc for the general population. Thousands of places do it and I think WC has every right to do it along with them. [e digicons][/e]
Hey.. gmc2... c'mon now, don't get bent over such a small thing as this. Jafo made it painfully simple in his explanation of why and what to do if one is not happy with it. I don't want to see any evil happen to anyone because of something so trivial!!
Indeed... the issue is resolved. Version 3.5 Pro with proper serial number downloaded and installed. On server 2008 R2 even... Thank you! CASE CLOSED
UPDATE: Well, the latest BETA for DXPro (3.96 which worked just fine) no longer appears as an option to download. DXPro 3.5 is actually there now but the serial number provided does not work. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I'll write a tutorial for you tomorrow when I'm at work so I can see it all. Think you'll like it.
I might be able to give you some good pointers on using bginfo with group policy, especially if you have more than one domain controller. I've got a nifty batch file that does it based on which DC you hit.
Somehow I doubt you have an easy time event when it's warm.
NICE! ( but I CAN spell the word "EVEN" without a sesame street dictionary!!)
the update function does not work. you will need to go to your product registrations page and download the full installer. You should uninstall the old version prior to running the new one though. Now... I created a virtual server 2003 system (fortunately I had a 2003R2 SP2 template made), joined it to the domain and installed fences. BGInfo and Fences co-exist just fine. Don't know what to tell you at this point...
what version of Fences? The one I'm using on the 2008 box is Fences Pro v1.1.0.370. I see that the latest is 1.10.419
@Phoon - Server 2003 by any chance?
the particular system that I have fences running on is Server 2008. I can test it on Server 2003 but that will take me some time to put it all together. ( dont want to randomly install fences on a live production server ). The 2008 box is one I have sitting at my desk for admin functions only and serves no critical role....
in cold weather i sometimes cannot find my ordinal...
I run BGInfo in our enterprise environment and have fences installed on a system. Zero issues. Philly, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897557 very handy tool if you need to support thousands ( or dozens ) of systems.
Ok Mr. Floyd. After this let's test your meddle. Do a theme for "Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a pict"!! [e digicons]:D[/e]
Winflag + Tab does the fancy "Switch Between Windows" function on Win7 ( and vista I believe) which gives you the nifty thumbnail type view of your running apps.
or that... :)
