Alright, I see that I had it completely "Bass Ackwards" LoL..What I need to do actually is just purchase what software I actually want from stardock, and subscribe to Wincustomize..I dont,,It seemed to me that when I first purchased WB's that I read something about a years subscription to both Wincustomize and Stardock..but that may have been only if I purchased Object Desktop at that point in time?.. I dont know..but..Ok.. After reading through bo

I suppose to be more correct I should say I am going to finally purchase Object Desktop and along with that I think there is a subscription attached... I could be wrong though, apparently some things have changed..::laughs:: we'll see Zero.

Corky, even though I was sure it would do absolutely no good, I tried what you suggested..I copied and pasted your instructions to notepad, I downloaded a fresh copy of theme manager, I uninstalled, rebooted, deleted, rebooted, reinstalled onyl to have the exact same scenario..if I wasnt so bored I would not have attempted it..::laughs:: but what the hey, it was something to do.. The problem is not a local one..most definitely.. Thank

Yes they do, but thats only after they have been accepted by WC and posted in the DL section..I personally dont have any logons uploaded but I do visit artists skin libraries from time to time and their logons are posted, along with everything else that they have uploaded. Zero.

Unfortunately it only takes "1" pesky virus to ruin your whole day, Phoon and Meowy are correct, reinstall..as soon as you get everything back up and running INSTALL your Nortons AV!..LoL..there are a TON of virii about these days.. Zero.

I agree, people who have pirated windows by hacking the reg or using keychangers ultimately drive up the cost of not only the current OS but any future OS's to come. XP is reasonably priced today, the home version running about the same as Windows 98 did in it's later term. I agree, if they have stolen the OS, why offer them any support at all...makes sense. Bebi, Being a little pre-occupied I forgot to thank you for the lesson of how to do that cool yellow backround...:laughs:: Just highlight the text you want to make the cool yellow highlighting and then click on the Quote button Lookie there, it works!..::laughs:: Thanks so much, Take C

Xav is a great skinner, I enjoy almost all of his work, that is just plain too bad if I understand him correctly and he is leaving..he puts everything he has into all his work and thats pretty much obvious..Ah well. Just a note of sorrow at the loss.. Zero.

Akoloutheo, just wanted to throw a link your way, it's one of the sites I go to and read reviews/benchmark results and learn about things to come in the world of computing. This is a link to an article on the site about building your own PC in 05 and should give you a fair amount of information regarding the things to come, when they may become available and what not to waste your money on.. I hope you find it useful, I know I have <a href="http:/

Well, perhaps Kona would like to offer his opinion of that, I personally have used ATI products for the past 10 years or so, the only reason I opted to buy the Asus this time around was due to the fact it boasted to be a better product than the ATI's Radeon of the same class, at about half the cost, while using ATI's graffix chip set. There are a TON of Vid cards out there that do indeed use ATI chips, bundled with xtra features of their own creation,

Essencay, thanks for the clarification..I admit I was a little "Foggy" about that. But, I think becoming a suscriber defintely would make me personally feel more like a member. All I have done is purchase one stardock product, windowblinds, I do not really think thats much of a contribution "membership" wise, and it certainly doesnt show the amount of support I would like to offer this community, if I could. The first 3-4 months I o

Im not done yet [obviously, ya got me on a rant now..LoL] I never once suggested that anyone buy a Pentium, I simply stated what *I had, and some of the capabilities I have he

Well..usually when new stuff hits the market it is not only very expensive, but it has yet to prove it can stand the test of time, benchmarks and technical info do serve a purpose and can definitely sway your decision one way or the other. I usually wait for awhile on completely new products, or if they are just upgraded versions I will move to the last known well manufactured, proven to work component available. The price is usually much more reas

I believe I did state, somewhere in this thread that it has been awhile since I looked into all the goodies the hardware scene had to offer, but I have managed to catch scaps and tidbits of info here and there [what can I say, old habits die hard..LoL] Concerning Intel, the last article I read about their upcoming chips stated they were going to be of a *Very unique design, something to do with nano-architecture, the overall design of the new

::nods:: For the time being, The 64's are pretty fresh still..When in competition thats how it goes..::laughs:: But soon Intel will release their new line of processors and AMD will then again be "Second Rate" The thing that I personally found about AMD at least for me, is they do not have the lungevity of the Intel. Gamers love them because they are so impressively "overclocked" which only leads to an even ealier demise.. Anyway, Thats wh

LoL..Kona...I Have nothing bad to say about AMD, as I am sure you have a list for Intel, I have used both processors and a couple of other off brands, AMD did have an edge on pentium for a short lived time frame as far as bench tests were concerned, But like the Weird Al Parody goes.."It's all about the Pentiums Baby"..Nothing beats a smooth running Pentium chip...a fact is a fact. As far as tools, I recommend going to your nearest PC store, M

Thats very true "".....[crossover occurs with personal taste]."" Content does have alot to do with it although it probably shouldnt. But I personally wont download and use WB's if I dont care for the content. People should not rate based on content alone, but it's hard to seperate the theme from the mechanix..if you dont like what your seeing to begin with how can you rate it upon usability and over all functionality? Take your DOOM
