Hmm, OK. I have 5 systems, so it's quite a mix... Windows XP (primary workstation) Windows XP (development laptop) Windows XP (desktop publishing workstation) Windows Server 2003 (home domain fileserver) Ubuntu linux ("play" box to learn linux on) Suse 9.2 Linux (same as above). I'm slowly working my way through the main linux distros to learn which I like best, which is easiest to work with, etc. <BR

With regards to Keepsafe & thinksync, I have a server on my home network that I use as a file-storage machine, will I be able to utilize this for these products as extended disk storage space as well? Or will the products not run under a Windows 2003 server environment...

How will the licensing for thinkdesk work? I have 3 machines that I work on, (primary desktop, development desktop, and a laptop. Do I need a separate license for each machine, or does one license purchase cover all the workstations that I am the primary or sole user of?

I'd like one please, if you have any left... Both My wife and I use the Yahoo groups pretty heavily, so this will be a cool extension. Thanks for sharing! Email

I agree that ultimately it will be a good thing, but I hope we don't see everyone rushing to market with the technology without proper thought to the security required to protect an "online identity"... otherwise it will just result in making identity theft infinitely easier

Does the other utility offer any options to "Disconnect" or "Dismount" the drive so it can be scanned? You might also try forcing a dismount of the drive by removing the asigned drive letter in Disk Manager, although the system won't let you do it for the system drive, a drive that holds a swap file, or a hibernate file.

Nothing seems to have changed for this version with regards to handling users behind a proxy server... It still never even makes the attempt to use the IE settings. Since Konfabulator and AveDesk seem to be able to do this without problems, how hard can it be? For what it's worth, Natural Desktop works fine, and since it's essentially a big DX Widget or application, I know it is indeed possible.

Is anyone else using ATI cards with WindowBlinds (has to be) that has seen any strange behavior? I'm having somthing of the same issue on my work laptop... It's a COmpaq Evo n610c laptop with a ATI Radeon 7500 graphics chipset. I've always attributed the problems to it being a crappy 32Mb device,

And lets not forget that Konfab widgets tend to be more useful than the DX ones. I spent a good deal of time browsing the Konfab library yesterday and found a number of cool widgets that I would want to use, such as parcel tracking, world clock, site ping, site status, traffic camera images, memory/cpu meters that also display th

Unless you're a pirate, I can't see how anyone could possibly think Konfabulator is a better choice. It's not a matter of which one "is a better choice", but which one will work for my particular task needs... I am a registered ODNT user, and a registered Konfabulator user... I would LOVE to only have

While I do agree that DX is a much more powerful package, and I feel it has much more potential than Konfabulator, I've still registered KF and tend to use it more often for one major reason, you apparently still cannot run "Web connected" DX objects or widgets from behind a proxy configured workstation... I know NaturalDesktop can do it, as I have it workign on my laptop here at the office, but I have yet to find any DX widget/object to work correctl
