Are you using the free version of IconPackager? Can you load the packages that came with the download? If it's the purchased version, I would uninstall, reboot and install it again. If it's the free version, there may be a limitation on applying new packages. (not sure about this)

DoubleClick the zip file to open. Look at the contents. If it is an IP file, extract from zip and doubleclick to install. If it is an .iptheme and .icl (or many .ico's), check if there is a path shown. If there is a path, extract to ObjectDesktop/IconPackager/Themes. If there isn't a path go to the above directory and click "make new directory" (Use file name). Then extract the contents o

Open the "skin name.uis" file in notepad. In the Personality section of the look for the setting TextAlignment=1. Change it to TextAlignment=0 to align the text to the left. Save and reload the skin. Or, if you use SkinStudio, go to the Miscellaneous/Personality/TitleBarText-Alignment and choose Left Justified. Save and reload the skin.

werewolf, I installed FireFox (well, I hadn't screwed up my computer in a long time, so why not). If you load SkinStudio and go to "Fonts for Classic widgets" and delete the setting for System Menu Fonts, that fixes it. I put that setting in so the menus would show the dungeon font. I guess FireFox just threw up at having a custom font. Sorry for the problem.

Hopefully we will be able to search text, not just the headers this time. There is so much good information here, I have had a number of occasions when I wanted to look something up, and unless I could remember the thread name or author, there was no way to find it.

Not using the Windowblinds skin is a deal breaker for me. And Jafo, I just tried the "log-off" and it works here in IE. Saw the ads in all their glory.

In case anyone else wants to know: Updating the description is immediate. Does not go back thru moderation. Updating the screenshot does go back thru moderation. I couldn't get a response, so I just did it to see what would happen. One caveat, if you get too clever and edit the de

I messed up the descriptions on my updates. I am used to using the for carriage returns and I wound up with way too much space between lines. Can I change this without going thru moderation again? (just taking out the extra spaces) Also, the new screenshot for the IconPackage did not make it. Can I try to update the screenshot without going thru moderation again? I have been enough trouble with these updates and don't want

"SPECIFIED CAST IS NOT VALID". I also have that error message. And if you noticed, we seem to be on www2 tonight instead of www.wincustomize.com. Poor T-Man, I'll bet he is about ready to pull his hair out.

Speaking of not normal, this afternoon the internet gods smiled upon me and I finally got the updates uploaded for JWood Windowblinds, Objectbar, and IconPackage. About an hour later the Windowblind was approved and is in the library. The Objectbar and Iconpackage show as awaiting moderation in "My Skins". If I click on the links to them from the Windowblind the Objectbar comes up and is downloadable. Same with the IconPackage, except the IconPacka

Lynx's Den, don't feel lonely. I would guess that the problem with your screenshot slipping down so fast was that there was a hangup in some submissions not getting where they were supposed to go for several days, and a whole bunch got thru when T-Man found the problem. Lots of things are not quite normal right now. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl

I brought the updates to work today (fast connection) but I still cannot upload. I am behind a hardware firewall (non-configurable by me) but I've never had trouble uploading from here before. I tried 3 times to update the JWood IconPackage and got an instant "Page Not Found". I tried uploading it as a new submission and got the same thing. I give up.

Thank you for your help, T-Man. I am sorry to be so much trouble, but I was just hoping I could gather enough info to help pin down the problem. I am at work today, so I will try again on the uploads tomorrow. Thanks again, jebland
