i wonder how many other 1680x1050 screens are out there, or if all 397427 are mine?
@drej16 i can answer your question about screen resolutions...if you click on the little square with the globe on it at the bottom of everypage you can find info for wincustomize like this :
congratulations Hsnkers
Fairyy~ if you have a javascript blocker (NoScript etc), you need to let f-forge and adbrite access to download the file on the link...i got the warning errors too, but they went away after allowing JS to run.. hope this helps
1026 so far....but i think it should be possible to go much much further nice game
i've use a small nLite build, and have no problems. i do find that i need to kill the explorer.exe process then restart it again to make the toolbar icons change...
i'm a proud lefty, and so is my girlfriend.... a lot of divers, espeically dive masters/instructors seems to be left-handed...better spacial awareness or something....the first diveshop i worked at had 6 out of the 7 employees left-handed...
hey cosmicVoyager, yes, i realised that. the WC NEWS RSS feed should point to forums.wincustomize https://forums.wincustomize.com/?g=rss&forumid=153 that is the RSS feed, and it works perfectly here...i believe you have picked up the 'old' RSS feed
it could be that the RSS feed you are using is from the 'old' forums... all new forum Wincustomize feeds now seem to point forums.wincustomize.com, not www.wincustomize.com try subscribing to the new RSS feeds on the new (this) forum i'm using the wincustomize RSS feeds with no problems (FF 1.5.0.6)
hey Po' have you tried creating a new login, and seeing if you can login to wincustomise as the new user, and if you get the same problems? just thought you would like something else to try
ahhh, the youth of today...so polite....
when using the RSS feeds as a Live Bookmark in FF 1.5.0.5 (and previous versions) i get 'non-alpha' characters displayed incorrectly in thread titles :-
one little problem i've noticed...non-alphabet characters in the thread titles are being displayed incorrectly in the RSS feed.. i.e. a '-' (hyphen) in a thread title is appearing as & #045 when appearing in the RSS feed and '""' (double quote) in a title is appearing as & quot;
yes, i've just seen them too....fantastic, thanks very much...i'm already using the 'Recent Posts' RSS feed....works like a charm so far...i really appreciate the work the Wincustomize crew have been putting into this new forum... cheers,
What I mean though is, to be more clear, is for me it's showing this as the last post info for this forum (Site Issues): Today, 11:00 by liquidguru it's showing the last topic created , rather than the last reply posted to a thread.... i hope that make sense Bebi
We wanted to go in the direction of the standard forum systems, but we didnt say we wanted to give up being slightly unique. I dig the participation, but this one thing isnt likely to change i fully understand that you and we want Wincustomize forums to be a little "different", but that diiference should not come at the expense of practical
been working with the error message since then should have said 'without' the error message
Hover your mouse over the [->] icon in the last post column. i agree with Zubaz..this is not 'friendly' to the user....however if it must stay, it would be better to take the posters name and post time out of the hover-over info, as it is just repeating the info already displayed. i think most people, when viewing the forum home page, are i
@thomassen i had the same errors yesterday when trying to post. it was resolved by logging out, exiting FF, then starting FF again..been working with the error message since then
so i had recreated post #1 as post #2 i then, after it had posted correctly, pressed edit on the edit screen i hightlighted the bottom line -this post was created etc- and changed it to the last sentence in the above post, and all the line breaks have gone andrew, i hope this helps
ok, the line breaks have been lost in my original post above, and i haven't edited it at all. there should be a line break above this line there should be a line break above this line there should be a line break above this line this post has been edited. all i have changed is this line, and changed the options to Plain Text
ok, the line breaks have been lost in my original post above, and i haven't edited it at all. there should be a line break above this line there should be a line break above this line there should be a line break above this line this post was created in the 'simple' editing mode and not edited
it seems that if you edit a post in Advanced Mode, when you hit the submit button, the post will be displayed without any of the line breaks. i've noticed that when you go into advanced mode to edit, the default mode in Options is Pure HTML. i change the mode to plain text, but it doesn't take in the final posted edited reply. i will make two posts after this, both exactly the same, both with line breaks. the first one will not be edited. the second one i will edit after posting it..
And it would also be nice if I could post with out getting server errors in Firefox i was getting server errors when trying to post too...fixed it by logging out, shutting down FF, then starting FF again
