Thanks for the input Seabass. I really don't have any issues with the dreams not working correctly, just thought it was strange how some dreams use a lot more explorer RAM. The (now) much more annoying problem is that DreamScapes no longer remembers the Water Dream settings for which wall I use and the tiling setting after I have rebooted. It worked flawlessly is the previous version of Dreamscapes, but not in this one. I manually have to reset my wall whenever I reboot. <b

I really really really wanted to get rid of the green 'Start' button on the XP taskbar...it really bugged me that it had to be green..I had worked out how to change the text, put an image on it, bit just couldn't change the colour :SNIFF!: Google introduced me to Stardock and Wincustomize in March 2004 and I couldn't imagine laptop life without Stardock's products and Wincustomize's skins :CONGRAT:
Also the latest version seems not to remember my Water Dream settings. If I set another background for the dream, then change to another dream, then back to the Water Dream, it has returned the background to the default sand background. The previous version of dreams remembered my background settings.
This happens after a reboot too. The Water Dream defaults back to the sand background and forgets my 'Tiling' setting.

I'm using the latest Dreamscapes build 1.95.[b].028, Vista Enterprise SP1, 2GB RAM, 2.16 Core 2 Duo, ATI1400 card (3.6 score). When I use the latest dreams, Copper Pool, Exotic Plasma and Grassy Field, my Explorer.exe memory use goes up from a normal 50Mb to over 100MB and the explorer.exe CPU usages gets higher too (higher than the dwm.exe CPU usage). Desktop Earth and Water Dream are better, only increasing the explorer.exe to between 64Mb and 75MB. This happens both with

I'm running Vista Enterprise with SP1 integrated (legit, not from torrents, from the Volume Licensing program) and Dreamscapes beta with no problems, though my system is 32bit. I use the K-Lite Mega Codec package [link="http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Codec_Pack_download.htm"](K-Lite Link)[/link] and have no issues with any program requiring video.

I've got the new beta installed on my Vista laptop, and so far so good...it's seems to be using a lot less memory, is responsive, surfs fast and i have my most essential 16 add-ons working perfectly...i had to look around some of the add-ons home pages to get the latest builds for them, but i'm pleased with it so far..... I keep switching every few weeks between windowblinds and uxthemes...presently i'm in my uxtheme mood on vista so everything skins correctly..i haven't tried it yet ru

I had this same problem a while ago with TweakVista...I had Vista Home Premium and it wouldn't let me install, saying I didn't have Vista... The only thing that solved it for me was to re-install Vista
liquidguru: Thanks, I had been using the cpu meter from the control panel which was not maximized. I just tried a gadget cpu meter and it showed that the dream did pause.
You're welcome. I would prefer it if, when any window is maximised, the dream will stay paused, irrespective of whether another window is opened over the top of it. When i am rendering video in my maximised application (Premier Pro) it will bring up a small window over the top of the maximised a

One thing i have noticed is that the dream will pause when the active window is maximised, but if you open another non-maximised window over the maximised window, then dream will start playing again.

Having had a quick look at the links you provided I would say that Things, iGTD2 and Omnifocus offer, for most people, the same functionality as Outlook. Your last link is really is a very small niche market and similar products exist for Windows. This post is like a broken pencil............pointless
If I uncheck one, both of them will be disabled...
Not sure if I completely understand. You should have one line as follows: If you have another ObjectDock line and it is checked, un-check it. If you disable one and leave the other it will not disable the other.

Have you tried opening the Start Panel, typing 'msconfig' in the box at the bottom, hit return, then click the 'Start' tab in the program that comes up. There should be one instant of Stardock Objectdock in the list there. If there are two, uncheck one of them then reboot.
I think people need to start putting some pressure on these outfits to put out a non buggy product rather than just accepting a buggy product and making excuses for them.
Where's the buggy product? I've got the necessary hardware and have been using Vista for a year and i love it...much less buggy than my experience with XP. Not that XP was super buggy, but I've found Vista much more stable, less crashing, less rebooting than XP. I honestly feel that most people with Vi

I'm not sure about free programs for converting your raw .avi into .mpeg...probably the best thing is to google it, then try the results.... As for converting to 30fps from 15fps, the only way to do this in a lossless way would be to double the speed, which is definitely what you don't want to do. Really your only option is to re-render the video in the format and fps you want. Video production is a very time consuming process, both your own and the cpu's...there is a fairly steep lea
Vista Business Users: Looks like we'll need a much better "You don't have MPEG on your machine" message than whatever it has now. .Dream files support MPEG and WMV. Windows Vista ULtimate and Home Premium support .MPEG and .WMV but Business and Enteprrise only support .WMV.
I can use all Dreams on my Vista Enterprise, both .wmv and .mpeg files. I'm a long time OD subscriber. I just downloaded TweakVista, using SDC. When I try to run the prograsm I get a message:-
Stardock's ACTIVATE.EXE could not communicate with the server. this may be caused by a firewall blocking Internet access, please check your settings and network permissions. Would you like to activate by email?'
After it failed I turned my firewall off, and the same thing this is from the error log of TweakVista<br
