Need your suggestions

I am currently advising www.zorpia.comLink

on a public API for their site. We are doing so with gadget authoring in mind.

We are in beta testing.

So far we have:

1) RSS Feeds for journals
2) XML/RSS for Albums
3) XML for freinds list
4) XML for subscriptions

Could you visit the site, and make suggestions as to what other public data transfers you think would be useful for gadget making?

Do consider having a look at the Flickr API. It's got everything you need for not just authoring a gadget, but whatever else that you need to do. You could get "inspired" by the photos API side and add in your own similar functions for posting to your journals, "assigning/adding" photos to your journals for an edit mode and many such things.

The Flickr API is pretty comprehensive and easy to use, I just finished coding a gadget for displaying pictures from it to a desktop gadget with a picture frame which will cycle through whatever photos you want. Check out www.uzable.com for what we'll be releasing soon.
