LogOffButton Skinning Prob.

I have been trying to figure out on how to skin the LogOffButtons (round buttons). I have studied Gabriels X360 Log Off Buttons and noticed that the background is black. I have tryed every type of format i can think of. Magic pink dosen't work. I used his buttons (round) on my theame and it works fine. Can someone explaine on how to creat the buttons and what settings to use in SkinStudio?

Make them as a .png with a transparent background, SkinStudio will convert them to .tga when you import them.
Check both transparent and translucent for image in SKS.
