Skins have glitches

First of all...I just upgraded from Windows xp to Windows xp Proffessional.I never had any problems till I upgraded.

My problem is that the majority of skins I have applied,have glithes in the design,like when I open up the start menu,it has black lines through it,and my taskbar is mainly black with specks of the design,I don't know if I am explaining this well.There are a few designs that work though.

Any advice would be helpful.

Which version of WB are you running, April? And are you running the Classic Start Menu or Luna-style Start Menu?

I am runnin WB 4.5

My start menu options are (Start Menu),and (Clasic Start Menu),I have it set to (Start Menu).

i have have xp pro myself and i had the exact problem myself until i switched my DPI setting in display panel advanced setting back to 96dpi from 110dpi and when i switched back all the imperfections [blackline

It has been set to 96DPI.
