Jan 10 update - intro in wnidowed mode is jerky and splintered.

I haven't tried a complete uninstall/install, but the intro looks impressive --- except --- When loaded in windowed mode and a custom screen size (I used 1237*1140) it breaks up into chunks that move forward in their frames independantly, giving a very broken up appearance. I tried to get a snap shot, but the result was to skip the remainder of the intro. The frame rates were in the 20s to 30s.

When I started the game in fullscreen mode, the intro was smooth for the most part, with only a few sequences where motion was just slightly jerky, such as where there was a large amount of uncoordinated motion. (where the troops were jogging down a hall, for example).

Just downloaded  todays update and now the game crashes to a Windoserror with the need to send a report It will not play

Jack, on IRC tonight I was advised to post gamma bug reports on the Council forums. You might get more attention there.

Found the "announcement". Gamma is a 0.90 level. The one I just downloaded is a 0.81(b).006.

In case not everyone has found out, the gamma is available for Diplomats and Ambassadors, and Frogboy has asked that gamma bug reports be put in the council forums. If you're looking at these forums on www.galciv2.com, look to the left where you have the Home, Downloads, Purchase, etc buttons, and if you're in the gamma you'll see a "Council" button on the bottom of that list. Use that to get to the council forums.
