The main screen of the program is like dead or it change the skin that i have in a windows classic theme...
I don't know what happened . I tried to uninstall windowsblind and reinstall it but it's the same problem .
What's wrong ?

It would be real helpful for those in the know to see the system information report in the WB configuration. Just open WB and go to system information. Highlight everything it says and paste it into the forum. Also when you installed WB did you reboot your computer before trying to use a skin?

WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report:

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC.

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

You have one monitor in total.

(Default Monitor) 1 is attached to ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP

Wbconfig.exe 2005/11/28 15:45:06

Wbui.dll 2005/11/26 18:09:46
Tray.dll 2005/11/02 13:28:26

PLEASE report all this information when submitting a problem report, especially anything related to per-pixel skinning. We don't know what's in that Dell you bought last July or the notebook with integrated graphics the office gave you. Per-pixel skinning requires your drivers to at least claim to support the SB_PIXEL_ALPHA flag in the SHADEBLENDCAPS structure.

Here it is the system information and yes I reebot my computer before usin the program but it doesn't work .

thank you for trying to help me

ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP

Drivers aside, per pixel support could be a real push for that onboard...open WB Config and click 'System Information'. Check both options at bottom. Apply. Re-boot. Try WB again.

I just bought ODNT based on their history and had the problem of getting the classic style as soon as I installed WB5. I've been reading thru the forums and while I found others with a similar problem, none had a fix. I finally fixed mine so maybe it will help others.

I had the latest ATI drivers loaded, 5.13, for the Radeon series. I decided to roll back to an earlier driver as I had had issues with the DotNetMessenger windows coming up on shutdown and it was related to the 5.13 drivers I found out. I reinstalled the 5.11 drives and WB5 started working just fine. I am now able to apply skins and I no longer get lockups of just the classic theme.

FYI.
