Firefox Issues, and titlebar stuff on WB5

wierdness

Okay, so I borrowed my friend's computer yesterday, and he had the WB5 beta (i dunno what version, i'm kind of new to this) so I decided to give the per-pixel stuff a whirl. I got the "Vista" theme, and tried to Glass setting. It worked decent, but in the top left corner of a window, in the general area of the title of the window, there is an annoying white box, and I don't know what it's doing there. Firefox, as well as a few other programs get COMPLETELY screwed up. There is no title bar, so you can't do anything with the window, like move it, minimize, or exit from the bar. It just disappears. Stuff just gets a little scrwed up. When I switched from the per-pixel blending skin to something less advanced, it still stayed screwy. Help, anyone?

I'm running the final version with FF with no problems.
No title bar on FF? Sounds like F11 got pressed. press it again and the title bar comes back. Some programs don't like to be skinned and need to be excluded.

What kind of problems did your friend have before you borrowed the computer?

For Firefox, go to the Windowblinds per application settings and delete the Firefox setting there. Apply, and it should fix the missing titlebar problem.

Why in the world is FireFox listed in the per app anyway? It skins just fine!

While Firefox will skin successfully, it does hamper performance and cause glitches. I have noticed two instances. . .

Example 1: If you use roboform extension with WB5 and try to browse your list of "logins" from the dropdown it will get very lagged.

Example 2: If you use flashget extension w/ getright when you click on a link (to download) you see a title bar graphic that is stuck in the page backround.

For now its probably best firefox is not skinned . . . especially if you use those extensions

I actually know what you are talking about and it's happened to me before. I have fixed the problem now. I just switched to a different skin but now i'm having problems with the firefox window shaking up and down, nothing else, just the firefox page.
