So for those who have seen my icon in the forums....it is a pair of fishnet clad legs (mine) Yup, that's right, I have the strange urge to join other scantilly clad women in dancing on tables. Okay, maybe it isn't so shocking if you know me...
Anyway, every year Fort Hood has a big community fundraiser in the guise of the old west. Wild West Night has gambling, autions, live music etc etc. all in the guise of raising money for community events, schools and other worthwile causes. And....the entertainment is.....ta da....the can can girls. We do perfomances every hour on the hour for the whole night. It's a big part of the tradition.
So here comes the money thing. They decided that we shouldn't get a sponsor to pay for our costumes because they don't want to post big signs with the sponsors name and they figure that anyone who would donate $1000 for costumes should donate it to the actual fundraiser. So we now have to pay for costumes($90), shoes($35),fishnets($20), feathered headpieces, earrings, chokers ($30). To help make this a little less painful, we are doing a Pampered Chef Fundraiser.
