After rebooting on loading 4.96b[b].002, my email programme (Turnpike 6.05 - which is integrated with Windows explorer) kept crashing (it would stay open for about 30 seconds. Tried reverting to previous beta but problem persisted. Tried uninstalling WB5 and restoring from archive - restore kept failing. Eventually used system restore to an earlier date and reintstalled 4.96b[b].002. Turnpike running OK but some skins will not install into WB5. e.g. "Browngel" shows as "Unknown" "By: Unknown" (also in "advanced"). "Rebuild List" causes "Unknown" to disappear. As far as I'm aware this is a new problem.

Using System restore is a gamble to say the least. If any files are not reverted back to that date, the program could be calling dll functions that don't exist and cause all sorts of mayhem. I'd recommend uninstalling WindowBlinds, restarting, reinstalling and restarting to see if that resolves your problem.

Running a program which integrates into Explorer could run you into any number of problems when running WindowBlinds, but how do you mean Turnpike "is integrated" though? Do you mean it creates an entry on the taskbar, or does it actually modify explorer.exe?

I had tried that(sorry if I didn't make it clear) but the problem persisted which is why I had to use system restore. Perhaps this excerpt from the Turnpike postmortem will help:

D:\Turnpike6\TURNCORE.DLL : Thu, 21 Oct 2004 06:05:00
Version 6.05
int divide by zero at eip=66029B3F

A 'int divide by zero' fault occurred at: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds\wblind.dll 0001:00028b3f:

I have the full stack dump if you want to see it.

It's hard to explain about the integration of Turnpike - it actually becomes part of Windows Explorer. Not something I'm happy with but it's the best Email programme I have ever come across.
