A couple of issues with ODock 1.2

I have recently installed Object Dock Plus (v1.20.522u Plus) on my system (XP Pro, SP2).

First problem is that I frequently find I cannot restore minimised applications by clicking or double-clicking their 'Running Tasks' icon in the dock. Usually I can get around it by right-clicking and choosing Restore from the context window, but it's a little annoying.

Second problem is with Flyouts. It does not seem possible to open an item in an 'intermediate' flyout. In other words, I have a 'My Computer' flyout. When I click on it I see 3 Disk drives. What I would like to do is 'Open' drive D:, but all I can do is get the next flyout of subfolders. There does not appear to be a context menu for 'Open' or 'Explore'. It means that you can only open entries at the end of the series of flyouts. Or am I missing something?

Last problem is that the setting to keep docks visible when 'Show Desktop' (WinKey+D) is active doesn't work.

Any info / solutions gratefully accepted!

1.. I have this problem with a few apps. Ironically SkinStudio is one of them. Haven't found a cure.

2.. You're not missing anything.... that's how they work.

3.. Use WinKey+M , and WInKey+shift+M instead.

Seems to only work for those docks that have their Z-order set to 'Always on Top'.

Setting the docks this way has the sometime-side-effect of making the docks visible when the screensaver comes on (which doesn't actually bother me).

Item #1 on my tabbed docks shown as a drawer I don't have "Always On Top" checked but I do have "Tabs Always on Top When Docked As Drawer" checked and it is always on top and hides (along with the standard docks) with the screen saver. Only problem is sometimes it's missing when the ss goes off but clicking on one of the standard docks (which I have set both Always on top & Normal Z) and it comes back. Weird huh. Note on the standard docks, I don't have them set to autohide.

Work around for item #2 is to use a standard shortcut and type in the address then check the "Show Folder In Menu" box. Then you'll have both options, you can scroll through your file list like a menu or click on the top line which opens the explorer window for that folder. Flyouts are pretty but I've gotten away from using them as their just a bit slower.
