Al Qaeda - taking my Advice?

I recently penned an article where I opined that perhaps for cretins like the president of Iran, we need not use force, just circulate rumors.  And those rumors would then incite their followers to kill them.

Well, Al Qaeda has done me one better.  They are actually following the president of Iran's advice and attacking fellow Muslims!  Why?  because there MAY have been (I understand that 1 American was among the dead) staying at the hotels they targeted.  Instead, these whack jobs killed a lot of innocent Muslims, including the Fathers of the Bride and Groom at a wedding.  (Side Note:  My heart goes out to this couple.  On the day that should have been the most joyous, now they will always remember it was the one they lost their fathers).

And the Jordanians are not laying down and taking it!  Nor are the Palestinians who reportedly lost 17 of their own there!  They were shell shocked after it happened.  now they are mad!  And I say more power to them!  While I do not condone their silence when London or Madrid was bombed, it took the killing of their own to wake up (Much like the French now are).  For Terrorists (not freedom fighters, not insurgents - terrorists!  Or as one calls them - Bacteria) are no ones friend.  They are just blood thirsty killers.  Much in the same mold as Jeffrey Dahmer, John Gacy and Charles Manson.

And when they cant reach out and kill their faux enemies, they strike at what is convenient.  for they dare not confront a true army.  They must kill innocent civilians.

Now that Al Qaeda has started killing their potential supporters, perhaps the real Muslims will see that hate is not the answer.  And Al Qaeda has only hate.  Just a burning, irrational insane hate.

I don't want to see any more innocents killed to pull the true Muslims out of their myopia about terrorists.  I hope this one episode is enough to inflame the entire Muslim world against them.

That is my hope at least, and so far, it looks like a good start to it.

I don't know what will happen.

Maybe that one person who knows where Bin Laden is has seen this and thought, screw it, he is going down.

But in reality..I still don't hold out much hope. I think the affected nations will be less than effectual in the long run...

I just don't have any optomistic vibes toward Muslim countries.

Jordan is one of the ones I feel optimistic towards. It's all still very political, but I think their king has the capability to make a difference. I wish his father had done... more.

At the very least, this could stifle some support for al Qaeda. Yes, the Palestinians could still rally behind their other causes, but they wouldn't throw weight into those associated most directly with bin Laden.

I dont expect them to embrace Jews and Americans tomorrow, but every little drop erodes a piece of the mountain.  And I hope this is many drops, and just he beginning.

There has to be a beginning!  I hope this was it.

Good article.

Add in the questioning of Emile Lahoud, current President of Lebanon, in the investigaton of the murder of former Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri and you see real divisions in the Arab world. (Hariri wanted Syrian forces out of Lebanon and was assasinated on February 14th.)

Moderates are standing up to oppose the militants. But the question of who will win that struggle is not clear.

A shame really, but at least now we are seeing the beginnings of hope.  It should be a slam dunk.  At least now, some are questioning the slash and burn tactics of Al Qaeda.

Common sense should dictate that their tactics should backfire--but Muslim psychology is difficult to fathom.

Whether it is lack of common sense or the muslim psychology really does not matter.  But as long as they continue to target women and children, they will not be winning friends and influencing moderate muslims.

This was CIA MOSSAD and JORDIANIAN INTELLIGENCE

Nothing more.

hatred for us is about our policy and not who we are.

wasting time trying to get moderates on our side is meaningless no matter how hard

The latter no doubt.

The above is a photo of damage to the Hyatt from the recent bombing. We are being told that this bombing attack was carried out by "suicide bombers" wearing explosive belts. We are being told there is no truth to initial reports that the bombs were hidden above the ceilings (or that Israelis were yet again given advance warnings to leave).

Take a look at this photo. Does that look like a bomb went off about waist-high, or in fact exploded downward from the ceiling.

Where is the blood splatter? If you wrap a belt around yourself like the one they claim and detonate it, you make a really big gooey bloody mess. The wall is clean.

Is the "confession" a repeat of the infamous phony "Kuwaiti nurse"?

You tinfoil people amuse me!  I guess the Mossad did it right after taking out the twin towers as well.

Oh gawd you are a wack job, listen here first Al Queada claimed it on their web site, then the wife of the bomber who tried to kill herself admitted it. How much more proof do you need? Do they have to go to your door and pass out their litature?!!

Quote one creditable source of information. Get AP News, CNN, Reuters, Fox News, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, BCC, Euope News or any news agency to back these LIES up. Come on Caviar (anonymous user) and rombios, produce real documentation that the CIA/Mossad did this when Al Queada is clamining responsibility. Why are you trying to discredit the bacteria of the region. Don't you want them to gain power in the world?!!

They cant because it does not exist.  But as long as they can slam the US and Israel, being the racists they are, anything goes.

When you had Palestinians cheering as the towers fell, that was a very telling picture.  While this kind of terrorism may have been in Arab countries prior to 9-11, it is just now that they are seeing that Al Qaeda is not their friend and saviour.  And it is only by alienating their potential allies that Al Qaeda will be erradicated from the face of the planet.

I would remind you that the only requirement for evil to trumph is for good men to do nothing.  Perhaps it is time for the good men of the Arab world to now stand up and start denouncing monsters for what they are.

blogalement votre !

I guess there is not a lot we can do about the perception.  For indeed, we got into the middle east via Saddam and his invasion of Kuwait.  We had no choice, and that is apparently what set them off, in your view.

As for Palestine, where is Bin Laden to help them?  That is the biggest hypocrisy of them all as not a single Arab state has lifted a finger to help them!

That is the true reality, but perception is all that counts.  So as longas they percieve us to be the agressors and indifferent to the issues of Muslims, they are going to be antagonistic.  I do understand that.  That is why Al Queda blowing up their own in Jordan (and Iran threatening Arab states as well) is working to the West's advantage.  And against the extremist.
