Who watched it?  I think we did listen to it.  Not bad, and Steven's analysis is pretty accurate.  Which for him was a "hip Hip Hooray and a slam" and for me was a "Hip Hip hooray, and a calling to task".

C-span ran the speech in prime-time Friday night, the sound bite portion was toward the end, it was a great speech even if it took to task the Dems.....

I don't think it will get very far just as the "godless communism" tag didn't work. It was communism's totalitarianism that led foremost to its destruction. I'm afraid hammering away at the concept of terrorists' "defiling a great religion" is the wrong approach. It is the religion itself that defiles human life and dignity.

I agree with the reasons we're there, and I understand why, but I fault the administration for not "keeping the home fires burning", while allowing anti-war opposition to spread.
The obvious policy of "ignore it and they'll go away" has failed. Let's charge some Congressman with subversion!! Let's accuse Kerry of giving aid and comfort to the enemy!
