need help with theme manager

I recently downloaded the Theme Manager and for some reason I can get the task bars and windows to change skins with what skins came with it. I can't get the suites to load in it. I have gone through everything and downloaded it. I would appreciate if someone could help me and thank you ahead a time. Sorry if this has already been posted.

For ThemeManager to apply suites/skins, you need to have the relevant programs installed: ie; IconPackager for icons; WindowBlinds to change your GUI, and CursorXP for cursors, etc. Do you have these programs installed, and if so, are they the full versions (not shareware)?

If you could provide those details, with a little more detail on what you're trying to do, I'm sure someone will be abler to help you more.

I have the same problem i cant apply any of the included suites or the ones i downloaded.
theme manager made me download a bunch of programs which i didnt have installed, (icon packager, windowsblinds... etc.) so i guess i have all programs needed.

since i didnt pay anything anywhere, i guess they are all shareware version... does this mean i cant apply suites unless i get the full version?

thx for any help

You need to "start" the program(s) and then choose a blind or theme. For WindowBlinds, start WindowBlinds and then choose a blind.

well what program do i need to run then to load a suite?

i thought it was the theme manager, which i open, i select the suite i want. klick apply, it downloads the required skins files, it extracts them and then applies them... according to the program, but nothing changes on the screen...

Theme Manager is the correct program for applying suites. Sounds silly, but did you try clicking Apply a 2nd time( after the skin installs into Theme Manager)?

the theme is already installed... when i klick apply the above happens, it installs all the stuff. if i press apply, it repeats the above... i can repeat that as often as i want for any suite...

Do you have Windowblinds?
Do you have Icon Packager?
Do you have Bootskin?
Do you have LogonStudio?

These questions need to be answered, then we can maybe help troubleshoot what is wrong.

You may be correct about the shareware version being different. I'm not sure what is enabled & disabled in the shareware

Shareware vs full version?

don't think so aimzzz. according to: Link, it only comes in 2 flavors - free and Plus/OEM but I don't think you can get an updated unless you have SDC.

Sir B
I brought it up based on comment #2. Since there are several people asking for help, it wouldn't apply across the board...
