Race abilities look out of whack after uninstall/install.

When setting up a new game after a complete uninstall/install, it looks like the default race abilities for the terrans is way off. Morale +50, research +10, influence +20, trade +10, diplomacy +40, hit points +10, logistics +6, and all for a federalist party (economics +20).

In checking the other races one at a time, they are all similarly whacky.

Well, it corresponds to the values that are in the corresponding XML file.

After some tests, the "wacky" values are in the files. but since they aren't in the abilities screen, you loose them if you decide to edit those abilities

Actually i like to see that other races have such abblities and they are reasliticly set unless it is a bug then i think it should stay...

After starting a game and editing the race abilities for all races, I started another new game. The new game had the same whacky unreal abilities as in the first game.

Yeah, those are all the values we put in the xml file. But you're not supposed to lose them in the abilities tab.  I'll have to look at that.

Note that there's no way in a custom race to achieve such high abilities with only 10 points to distribute. I thought it was a design point for the game that all races started "equal" ... as it is now, the canned races have a significant advantage over a custom race in abilities.
