Al Franken, who cant get a radio audience, and whose last decent joke fell flat 20 years ago is saying that Scooter Libby and Karl Rove are going to get the death penalty.  Even tho neither has been charged with a crime, or even convicted.  But that is not important to the loony left, now is it?

"And so basically, what it looks like is going to happen is that Libby and Karl Rove are going to be executed” because “outing a CIA agent is treason,”

But isn't he so cute?  He goes on to add:

"Yeah. And I don't know how I feel about it because I'm basically against the death penalty, but they are going to be executed it looks like."

Such a sweet guy!  Maybe you should invite him for your next cocktail party.  I am sure he has some great cadaver jokes as well.  After all, being one, he is the reigning expert on dead jokes.

i can see why you're so upset about the stuff in the first quote if you truly believe the second.

maybe libby and/or rove will buy into it and give up cheney (if one, the other or both haven't already done so).

He can't get an audience? He's on in 70 markets including NY, DC, Boston, Miami, Detroit, Cincy, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Denver, LA, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle. I'd consider that an audience. He doesn't have the audience that Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity have...that's for sure. AM Radio has been ruled by conservative talk for years. He's only been on for about a year and a half. It will take longer than 19 months to develop an audience comparable to those guys.

You do realize he's a comedian right? You told me the other day to lighten up...I think you should do that.

I know I am going to get blasted for finding a reply and replying, but.....

Bill Cosby is a Comedian.  Chris Rock is one.  Paula Poundstone is also one.  Al Franken is no Comedian.  He just thinks he is.

And he can be on 700 stations, but if they all get zero ratings (check out the Arbitron stats from September), he has no audience.
