Just an idea to throw out there....what with the subscription drive going on.
How about a Sticky for new SUBSCRIBERS to intro themselves. You see this on a lot of the sites out there. Something to give people a way to kinda ease into the community without having to worry about stepping on toes or feel like they're intruding into threads, etc.

That kind of post might be able to catch up to Xaltec's "Word Association" fairly quickly.

So for you noob SUBSCRIBERs post a little something about yourself. You know....real name, bank account & credit card numbers, SSN, home address, etc. (just kidding)

Hi I m Utkarsh Bhardwaj,16 from India. I m here since one and a half years and now got subscription through talk and win. I am smart and dashing, love to play basketbal. This world of skinning and programming looks too much fascinating to me. I wanna be a master one day. DesktopX is my favorite app as it can do almost everything through programming. Till now I've made DesktopX themes, CursorXP suite with trails Fx n sound, DesktopX widget and love to make a wb skin in future. Tiggz, Boxxi, Gef, Vad_M and RomanDA are some of my favorites but I love every author who works in his unique and distinct style. Thats all for now.

Hi there all. I just joined up on the weekend, purchased the full Object Desktop suite, and have been having a great time ever since playing with the tools on Vista. I just love to tinker endlessly with the OS, so this is like heaven  Too bad I have a day job to distract me.

There's some incredible skins, icon sets and themes. The talent and effort shown here is truly impressive. I'm currently using the Stingray theme and still can't believe how freakin awesome it makes Vista look.

It was meant as an exaggeration.
This post started during the last Subscription Drive. With all the new subs it was helpful to find out who was joining up.

Hello,

I have a question
yesterday i've loaded 2 Logons and 2 Bootskin to this site i recieved a message after doing it that it takes 5 days to control them

now i looked on mu profile and then on my site and gallery but they aren't there anymore
i didn''t recieve a email

what is happend with my Logons and Bootskins?
are they wrong or something else or must i look somewhere else ?

My name is Jymmy, and I just subscribed last night to the WC drive. I've enjoyed the site for a long time, and wanted to support you guys.
I'm female, live in Texas, married with one child - a boy - who lives in Orlando, Florida.
I work in the IT department of the Safety Council of the Coastal Bend in Corpus Christi, and have been there 10 years. I'm the ISD person there (instructional system developer), and build learning programs for our CBT lab.
I would dearly love to make these wonderful skins, but I'm a bit dense getting started. I have 4 computers running XP Pro, and my laptop has Vista Ultimate. I do have a question: on my Compaq, I still use WB 2.2 because of my favorite skin. I want to update and use WB 6, but I don't know if my old skin will work on it. I've used other skins, too, but keep coming back to this one. It's called "Victorian", and it's by a person named Calli, whom I can't seem to find any more. I'd like to know how to expand this skin to work with WB 6 - not to share, but just on my Compaq. Can you tell me how to do that?
Anyway, sorry I put off subscribing for so long, but I am glad now that I did. Cheers to all you supremely talented people!

Welcome Jymmy always nice to have new members.

That's a good question you have there on the old WB skin. A suggestion, make another post under OS Customization/WindowBlind. More people will see it and you will have a better chance of getting an answer. I'm a non-skinner so I wouldn't know where to begin but I'm thinking it should be able to be updated to work with the newest WB version. Good luck.
