WB5 transparent taskbar issue

Seems to be a 1time update

Seems the taskbar transparency is based on the background image, regardless of what may actually be behind it. Loading any full screen app in windowed mode, then using the windows key to bring up the start menu will show the background image through the transparent taskbar, not the app behind it. Additionally if you turn on hide the task bar, whenever the task bar pops back out it still shows the background image, not the apps it's covering up. The window transparencies don't have this problem, as they properly show and update any app behind them (even a D3D game)

That is the same behavior shown by Vista itself, so this is apparently default Taskbar behavior. In addition, the Notification Area of the TaskTray (where the clock and iconic views of running tasks are displayed) cannot be made transparent (either by WB 5 or in Vista). There are apparently certain things that are *utterly verboten*.

Not sure what you mean by the notification area can't be transparent, I'm using arrow for WB5 and while the icons are opaque, the background is transparant. Additionally my taskbar did update itself to show a window that was behind it, seems it DOES update periodically, just nowhere near enough for my taste. Also I don't consider this a bug report, as I believe it to be "working as intended" I just don't like how it's intended to work.
