Search engines ... talk about a mixed bag.
If you click on search, the White House site comes in at #1 and Michael Moore's site comes in at #2.

Wonder where the porn sites come in ... I'm sure they're in there as well.

It's a wonder anyone can actually do any type of real research at all on the net.

BTW - Here's a link that explains how search engines are manipulated: Link

What ever happened to respecting those that are in authority? We are fortunate enough to live in a place where we can vote to change things if we don't like them. There is no need to slander or mock our Commander in Chief. I am not saying that this thread is doing that, but it does highlight the fact that it is being done. Just my humble opinion.

I'm sorry if you disagree, Gregory. I am of the opinion that the position deserves respect, and if the person in that position is not doing what the people want, then he can be voted out. But while he is there, he deserves at least some degree of respect. I have a feeling that I may be one of the few that hold this position, but it is what I believe.

Yeah, it is pretty funny, but even more meaningless. ;~D

Not a political thread...oh no!

NT you should know better.

Based on results #1 should be the Democratic Party.

I think it's a GOOD thing to bring attention to the actions of someone in office if you don't feel that what they're doing is good for the country or its people...our country is supposed to be OF the PEOPLE ...By the PEOPLE...and FOR the PEOPLE...

I'm a PEOPLE!!!

..and I don't like alot of things the president has done since he manipulated (my opinion) his way into office.

I don't like what alot of the politicians are doing...on both sides of the aisle...I don't disrespect all of 'em......just the ones that lie cheat and steal.

I belong to that 'old fart' class of people from whom respect has to be earned...I don't just dish it up indescriminately

I support our good guys n gals in the military for the good things they're doing... but not the bad ones that do bad things....

Again, I simply thought it was funny. I am not anti bush. If I offended anyone, I will delete the thread. Just say so. No hard feelings. However, it is funny.

This is the result of one of the earliest attempts at "Google Bombing" and was actually a bit of a big deal about a year ago. Micheal Moore being number two represents the right's attempt to stack things in their favor, but they could never catch up with the original network of "miserable failure" links to the white house page.

Some recent stories.

As for my unasked for opinion, the president does deserve respect, simply because he holds the position. That does not mean blind lemming agreement with his every statement and policy. We don't elect a dictator then sit back and wait four years to see what happened. I'd bet those who consider critiscism of Bush unpatriotic because "he is the president and deserves respect" were singing a very different tune in 1998.

the President DESERVES NOTHING, his office deserves respect, much like the military I never forgot to salute the uniform officers wore, I did not respect most of them.

his office deserves respect

my only point.
