Can't update to WB5 through SDC

I have the latest Stardock Central installed and whenever I start it up it tells me there's a beta of WB5 available...however, when I try to "update" to it. IT first tells me it "can't auto archive WB5 because of a missing wb5.xml file (error 13)" but would I like to go ahead withthe installation anyway? When I click "yes" I get that it "failed to validate my subscription or product installation. Installation failed (9)" and "would I like to look at my log file?". If I look at the log file it has my email address, shows my OD subscription serial number and my expiration date is March 2006. I sent a note to Stardock support, but don't really want to wait until normal business hours (Monday) to try this out....I was hoping to play with WB5 over the weekend.

Any ideas out there as to what's going on?

Did you change your email address recently? I had exactly those same errors, and I had changed email addresses. I had missed one place to change the address. Once I fixed that I was fine.
Make sure you changed it in SDC under Tools... Edit Stardock.net Account and in the Register Products area.
If you didn't change addresses I don't know what is wrong sorry.

Try this,

1. Open SDC, right click WB4 and archive it.

2. Uninstall WB4 and reboot.

3. Open SDC and install WB5, reboot.

4. Apply the skin you want.

That is the procedure I used and it worked for me.

I ended up having to make my stardock.net and activation email addresses the same...even though the addresses are supposedly "cross-linked" to both places. Stardock needs to check into their activation scheme a little better. Then, I had to copy the activate.exe file over to the WB directory to be able to apply any skins...but it's finally working.

I notice it doesn't behave well with Yz Shadow, so I had to disable that.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
