DirectSkin not skinning everything

Howdy..
I'm experimenting around with DirectSkin and placed it in a .NET / MFC application. (Don't ask..). Problem I"m running into is that somethings are skinned, some aren't. Some places I go, everything looks wonderful. I go into others, parts of the window are skinned but others aren't. (as in, no buttons, no text boxes, no radio buttons, but some drop downs are ok, along with context menus). Now these same items which aren't skinned in the one area are completely skinned in the other areas.
Anyone ever bump into this? Any suggestions?
