Prolonged internet explorer loading

I'm quite sure this is caused by windowsblinds. Whenever I resume my laptop from standby or hibernate and click internet explorer/AIM, it takes 30 seconds for the application to load (it shows a blank white, unclickable page with (Not Responding) at the titlebar). How can I fix this?

I have the same thing on my laptop. Give it another 30 seconds to load up before starting Internet Explorer. I never thought it was Windowblinds but I will check next time I am using it.

Anyone have a solution to make it load up asap? Maybe this is the minor price for customizing the desktop..

Unloading windowblinds does fix the problem. I never would have guessed. This should be reported.

Yeah unloading does help, but that would mean giving up customizing my desktop.

No. Give up IE. Opera never has a problem.
