Considering what a selfish show-boater he normally is, it does seem that perhaps Terrell "T.O." Owens may actually have a heart after all.
I'm not sure where he found the inspiration for this action, but /salute for the effort and hopefully it will raise a considerable amount of money for relief efforts.
From Fox Sports's web site. Headline is linked.
T.O. reportedly will sell NFC title game ring
Terrell Owens will auction off his NFC Championship ring to help raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims, according to the All-Pro wide receiver's Web site.
"I'm sure each one of you share my horror and disbelief over devastation along the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina," Owens said in a statement. "I urge each one of you to place a bid, as much as you can afford for this worthwhile cause."
... more at linked article, but rest of article is about T.O.'s relationship with the Eagles in general, and Donovan McNabb, etc...
Again, it seems that at least T.O. is trying to be human and do the right thing in this instance. I hope his effort is successful.
