Going on Vacation

Well.....as everyone state side is going back to school, I am celebrating Labor Week by heading out on a three week vacation. School does not begin officially till the 3rd of October and my classes will not start till the 17th, so I am excited to get away.
I leave tomorrow first for a week in Niger. Abby and Allison, two of my freinds from DPU are PCVs there and I am excited with the opportunity of seeing them! Then, on to Burkina Faso for some chill time in the capital. The last leg will be Mali and hiking on the Dogon and boating up to Timbuktu. Camel ride anyone?
As for me, I am just in chill mode. I love Badjoude, but it can be a bit boring, when I have no work to do. However, that will all change when I am done with vacation. October means the start of two big projects. One a teacher training workshop the week of the 10th and the second a construction project that I wrote a grant for. Luckily, in that case - I do not have to do any heavy lifting
Alrighty, wish me luck and hope I do not get lost in the dessert!
