i have always wondered where people get those animated emotions. It looks cool to me and i always wanted to have one, well...get one.



But i noticed that every user who had used these animated emotions have a wincustomize subscription. so are the animated emotions for subscribers?

oops. sorry Majic7...misunderstood (stay up too late, w-a-a-a-y to much coffee to function during the day) - i totally forgot I posted a link again in 628 - I had posted for Bash one page 2 or 3 I think from the bookmark i've been posting from & apparently they don't carry it any more. prior to the above post, someone at DA told me the link was dead, so i found the other.


Giffy didn't HELP AT ALL!!! all they do is show u a picture from your computer.


What do you mean Bash? But first...all giffy does is convert a .bmp to a .gif (or .gif to .bmp)...you can also convert .bmp or .gif to a transparent .gif by picking a color you want to be transparent. Sooo...for example...you create a few frames in paint with a background you want to be transparent...each of those frames can be saved as .bmp or.gif...then you use giffy to convert the color you want to transparent....then you stick those converted frames in the gifanimator.

I tried the one from #355, would not work...
My friend told me it was too masculine, I still like it.
But I cannot make it work, maybe I have the wrong format.

Think I should stay with the blossoms?

The one in 355 is animated (not allowed on this site) and too large (100 x 100). It would need to be resized to even work on DA that allows animation. I don't have the file here at work, but can resize it if you want.

Maybe I should actually do some work while I'm here.

a little, but one of your skills can get it, no problem. It's always a balance between size and what you want. Each picture is just a hair different than the last, but if you end up with 50 frames it might be too big to post anywhere. If you make it too few, it might look jumpy. Some, well, hold on...

Some simple animations, your eye will fill in the in between that is not really there. This is made from 2 colors and 2 images. It took me less than 3 minutes to do, but with a little more time, you could make it look like a thumping speaker very easily. If I can do it, bash, anyone can and probably better.
