I'd like a link to the visual style or windowblind on diafragma's screenshot.

Hey Mike, the skin is a visual style by Jemaho you can get it here>>> http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/13464260/

An MSStyle or a WindowBlind?

WindowBlinds need "Stardock WindowBlinds" to be applied. http://www.windowblinds.net/

MSStyles need StyleXP by TGTSoft (Which is basically a Windows hack) or a hacked windows theme system file.

WindowBlinds is much safer.

i mean whatever the DA download link given by Diafragma is, i know it isnt a WBA, they are nice and easy to install, jus one click, moan moan moan, anyway, i will shut up now

Shidojin, It's a visual and you need the patch to make it work but its definatetly worth it and you can switch between WB and visual styles whenever you want to...

You can convert a Visual Style to a WB skin with Skinstudio as simple as clicking one button

Shidojin, open the MSStyle file with SkinStudio, and it will convert it for you.

I wanted to try that with a VS I found on DA, but the file was an .exe Is there a way to extract the files without running an executable?

Sorry for OT....here's a screenie of my desktop

ama02, just run the .exe but extract it to a folder that you have created it. Once there import it as a Msstyle using SkinStudio...

i got WB to apply it, but it looked almost nothing like diafragma's screenshot, the taskbar was a horrible orangey colour, and
there was no transparent glass effect

Diafragma, I've got the theme loaded and did the glass task bar guide provided in the .rar.

My desktop looks okay so far but how did you get everything else to have that transparent effect?

Is that what the patch you mentioned does? If so would, do you have a link for it?

Sorry for all the no0b questions. There's just so much to figure out.

Thanks.
