'Get Fuzzy Better'...can you help?

One of our JU regulars, Gene Nash, is having a rough time at the moment.

His cat, Fuzzy, ill seriously ill, and Gene's doing his best to get Fuzzy the treatment he needs...but it's expensive.  From what Gene's said, he's already used his rent money to help pay for Fuzzy's vet bill. 

Karma has already volunteered to help out financially, and I'm going to as well.  Can you help too?  Gene hasn't asked, and I'm sure that he WON'T ask...but I will.

I'm emailing Gene to ask if he has a PayPal account.  If he doesn't, I'm going to ask for a mailing address to send money too. 

I know that none of us here is independently wealthy....but what we don't have monetarily, we make up for in heart.  Let's show Gene how much we care, and let's see if we can't help him out a little.  If all you can afford to send is a dollar, then please do. (Once I get a mailing address, that is).

Let's all try to "Get Fuzzy Better"....

I know that almost any bank will open a charitable account for a nominal fee. Gene could then have us all send the money to the "Fuzzy Fund" care of the bank's address. My two kitties and I would be donating too.
