WindowBlinds 4.6 Bugs

Systray issues

My WindowBlinds is acting a bit strange. First off, on some skin installs, it won't show the systray icons (even with a re-boot of system). Secondly, my WB systray icon reveals 'WindowBlinds 4.5' as the tooltip (WB icon is directly next to the clock) ..but whenever I un-load WB and re-load it so that the WB icon is at the other side of the systray (WB icon is the furthest icon away from the clock) .. it says 'Window Blinds 4.6'

Has anyone else had issues like this? When I was upgrading from WB 4.5 -> 4.6, I didn't uninstall WB first but just directly installed into the same WB directory. Could this be the issue? Thanks in advance! Edit* Oh..and I'm pretty sure I have 4.6 installed because even when my WB systray icon reveals 'WindowBlinds 4.5' as the tooltip, if I right-click and choose 'About WindowBlinds' ..it says that I have version 4.6 installed.

Ok..there isn't any WB cache to clean..so anyone else have any solution to this?

okay, earlier I was at work (no WB) - was going through older posts and found this again (problem with short term mem..i forget a lot...sorry). I checked my icon - just as you said 4.5 but I have 4.6 (updated thru SDC). I unloaded WB - went int taskbar props and check icon history in the hide option... it shows an icon for 4.5...ran CCleaner...was still there...ran Ace Utilities (had it before CCleaner) and wiped out past tray icon history.(could not find an option with CCleaner)..loaded WB...taskbar props shows icon for 4.6 (build214)..tray icon mouse over shows WindowBlinds 4 (4.6(build214))....I shall restart and see what happens... I'll be back...

it's b-a-a-a-a-c-c-k. ..4.5 tray icon that is.

May be a holdover, maybe somebody forgot to update something...
I still gots all the 4.6 features, so I gots no worries for now.

Boooo.. well at I'm not the only person with this problem. I had firgured it was my system that was conflicting w/WindowBlinds but I guess not. I did everything you did, plus I tried clearing my 'Systray Notification Area' cache but still no luck. Hhmmm..I think I'm going to try to contact Stardock Support to see if they have a solution for this problem. I will post when I get in touch with them..
