What happened to my taskbar?

Please give me some WindowBlinds help...

It all began when I decided to play a game. Before I play, I usually turn off all Owner background tasks (except explorer.exe and taskmanager.exe) because the manual recommends it for better game performance. The last time I played was before I installed WindowBlinds. This time, while closing background tasks, I closed wbload.exe as well because it was classified as an Owner background task.

All of a sudden, my taskbar went black, but I assumed it was simply because I'd ended the program so suddenly. I played my game, and when I was done, I restarted my computer in order for the background tasks to run again. This time, though, something weird was happening with my taskbar. Whenever I would open a program, the buttons on the taskbar would all cram onto one side of the taskbar. With just one program window-type program open, the button would be on the right side, next to the system tray, and much smaller. With two, the taskbar doesn't show both buttons but one even smaller one, and then scroll buttons for me to toggle between buttons. With Windows Media Player minimized to its toolbar form on the taskbar, it squishes the other buttons between it and Quick Launch.

I'd like my taskbar to return to normal (nothing else has changed, however, though WindowBlinds takes a few moments longer than before to apply skins). Please tell me how to fix it. I've tried unloading and reopening WindowBlinds, restarting my computer, changing my skin back to Windows XP Style, and looking in the WindowBlinds Help file (which didn't help). My last resort will probably be to uninstall and reinstall the program, but I want to know if this will only make it worse or if there is a solution.

Here are some images of my weird new taskbar:

Thanks so much in advance.

This, in theory, should fix that problem:

Minimise Windows Media Player to the taskbar so that it goes into the toolbar form, then right-click on and empty space of the taskbar, and uncheck 'Lock the Taskbar'. A small bar will appear left of the WMP toolbar. Left-click on it, and drag the bar to the right (the WMP toolbar should move with it) until the toolbar is next to the system tray.
