My wife and I went grocery shopping tonight.  Not knowing what to eat for tonight's dinner, we decided to have curry and rice, since we already had some rice cooked.  My wife decided to get a canned curry sauce to put on our rice.  I was a little skeptical, as I couldn't imagine that canned curry would be any good.

Surprisingly enough, the curry turned out to be among the best curries that I have ever had.  I fried up a little bacon at home to mix with the sauce, and we poured it over rice.  We had that with some Indian cucumber salad that we made with cucumbers from our garden.  Yummy Yum Yum!

So if you're ever wondering what may possibly be the world's best canned food, try Aroy-D green curry.  (Red might be just as delicious as well.)

No, I haven't seen the dance show. I am not much of a dance fan. (Speaking of TV: There was a good article in the USA Today about the Idols' talant/fame correlation about two days ago.)

I'd suppose that I am suffering from some sort of reality-withdrawal now that "Hell's Kitchen" is finished. ("Hell" was my favorite reality show to come around in years. I may have even preferred that to American Idol.)

Anyway about the curry: Yeah! I was surprised. I love curry dishes. That canned stuff was surprisingly good. Almost too good to be in a can.

It's really pretty good. But since you're not a dance fan you might not enjoy it as much.


I really love curry dishes too but I always make mine from scratch! I've tried red and yellow curry but never the green kind. I wasn't even aware of the canned variety!

I am beginning to think that I should have written article about the dance show.

That curry was awfully good.  It was only $1.50 per can, but you have to add your own meat.  It is as good as anything that I've had homemade or at a restaurant.
