WAR NEARS BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM

The pope and the mullahs have been verbally attacking each other lately. This is undoubtedly the early stages of a religious war. The idea that the world is experiencing the beginning stages of a religious war sounds ridiculous to most people. But the recent terrorist attacks suggests that, indeed, a modern crusade is heating up.
Pope Benedict described the first set of attacks in London as monstrous and anti-Christian. He also called the murder by terrorists of Egypt’s envoy to Iraq as barbaric and uncivilized. The pope basically threw down the gauntlet to the entire Islamic world. Leaders of the Islamic Jihad willingly grabbed on to that gauntlet in response.
Al-Qaeda praised the London bombings and directly threatened Rome. Al-Qaeda called Rome the capital of infidels and that the lions of Jihad in Europe are ready to launch strong strikes against the Vatican.
An Islamic group linked to Al-Qaeda said it is now Rome’s turn to burn. In a statement to the Italians, the group said that unless the prime minister withdrew Italian troops from Iraq, he would be making the choice to turn Rome into a graveyard in strikes worse than those in London. The statement said that Rome and the Vatican will be covered with the blood of thousands of infidels.
One of al-Qaeda’s prime targets will be the Vatican, which the terrorist organization sees as a world center of heresy and Satanism. Hatred between these two great religions will flare into the most violent confrontation the world has ever witnessed.
