cursors help

How exactly do I use CursorXP? The cursors I did find I can't install, and I'm not finding that many. Do you have different types of cursors such as holidays & seasons? I'm new to this and need help.

Do you have CursorXP (the program) installed? If not download it from here: https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorxp/downloads.asp (there is a freeware version). Install the program > reboot > and then all you have to do is double-click on the .CursorXPTheme files to install the theme.

If the downloaded file is a zip-file then you have to unzipp it first and click on the .CursorXPTheme file inside. If there is no .CursorXPTheme in the unzipped file, but a lot of .png and other graphic-files, just rename (right-click on the file > rename) the original .zip-file to .CursorXPTheme and then double-click on it.

To show file extensions in WindowsXP open Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View > and untick "Hide Extensions for known file types".

To search for holiday-cursors (yes there are) go to the cursorXP library https://www.wincustomize.com/Skins.aspx?LibID=25 and type in 'holiday, christmas, easter....." or similar into the search field. That should come up with a bunch, just try to search using different words.
