I love it when a new version comes out, because I cant wait to see how much has changed, but I also hate it because I have to look at the nasty naturalness of XP. which is nasty. Anyway, as always, a priceless program that is cheaper then a meal at a good restaurant.

Excuse me, but did I fall asleep and miss something? Just a couple of weeks ago I read news about WB4.5, and now there is a release of ver. 4.6? Did I pass through a time warp and not notice? What gives?

Ecellent! Nice Effects

Time warp. 4.5 was in January. 4.51 in April, iirc.

How long til WB5 is out?

I am a registered user and it won't download the 4.6 update through stardock central. Anyone know why? I say update and nothing happens the box just closes and goes away

The screenshot looks nice!

I know this is a bit off topic but does anyone know of a skin that has tranparent titlebars and borders like the latest Longhorn/Vista beta?

UnoHu: Can't do that just yet. WB5 promises translucency, but that's a way off.

werewolf: Thanks for the info! I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Would be cool to have an effect mixed with the already available glow effect to light up the translucent areas.

When will you fix the bad thing with buttons that don´t resize when text is to long to fit.

What are the performance tweaks. Does it realy run faster than the previous versions. As I remember it was a tradition that all new versions of wb were not just upgraded with whole new kinds of features but they were also faster. So what's about this one?
only thing(s) that wb doesn't skin on my computer, and i never added them as exclusions either, are (AOL) AIM Triton beta & AOL Explorer. they seem to have it so that they use their OWN style, and can't be changed. but, AOL itself does take on whatever theme i use.

That is a result of the skinner selecting too large of a font for the buttons. Most buttons don't resize based on the text. The text should be resized for the buttons.

Can't see any difference apart that it's still working on my french Windows XP SP2 Family Edition with no IE7

I have asked the same thing to Steve Grenier who have made the Mac OS X Tiger skin. He says that in Windows XP for instance, the buttons rezises to fit long text, and that this function is not implemented in WB. And if I choose a font that fits with all buttons and all kind of messages (that Windows XP without any problem fix), then the text is so small and condensed that it is hard to read anything for that reason.
So I think that there is a problem with this. Download the mentioned skin yourself and see what I mean.
Could´nt be to hard to fix,if they want it, I hope!
Best regards,
Christer
