Windowblinds Download Problem

I hope somebody can help me. I've had no problem downloading Windowblinds skins before, but now for some reason, they won't open once I download them. I go the file and there's noting there. I can download them with Theme Manager but that's it. Does anybody know what's going on?

Have you tried just downloading (not using ThemeMGR) and then installing it? I've had trouble with ThemeMGR before - so I download and install with FireFox - it will pick the correct program to open with. There's a way to do it with IE for when it shows as a zip and it shouldn't be - both of these have instructions for that issue: Link & Link

I still doesn't work. The icon is there but when I click on it, nothing happens. It doesn't show up on the list of windowblinds skins.

When was the last time you were able to install a Windowblind? When you download does the file have the .wba extension? Have you installed any new software since this started happening. Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware programs would be possible culprits. Any additional info may help.

Have you tried unloading WindowBlinds > use Display Properties > Themes tab to return to the default Windows theme > then try downloading?

I wrote a mini tutorial on downloading which should allow you to bypass anything corrupting the file Link

If this does not work, try changing the file extension of the downloaded WindowBlinds file to ".zip" and extract the contents to see if you are actually getting a ".wba" file full of images, animations (usually ".tga"), and other files.

If not, something is preventing full download.
