OOo behaving strangely with themes?

Heya,
I've just purchased the full version of ObjectDesktop, and it upgraded WinBlinds to the full version, which can customise scrollbars. Very nice, but for some reason OOo (OpenOffice.org) is behaving slightly strange - it's showing a non-styled scrollbar inside the app, but the right-most side of the app _between the scrollbar and the edge of the window_ is a sort of non-updating transparent area - it picks up whatever was under the app, and never redraws that.
It looks like OOo may be handling it's scrollbars differently to other apps?
If anyone can suggest anything to make this look better (or if you'd like a screenshot or more info to try and help work out what's going on) let me know
