WinCustomize but for the Mac

I haven't been on very much lately. I got a Mac and haven't looked back. But the Mac communities are so pretentious that I find myself here wishing that WinCustomize supported Macintosh customization.
The problem is the close mindedness of the Mac community. If something cool exists for the Mac, they insist it exists nowhere else. If proven it exists somewhere else, then no doubt the Windows or Linux author stole it. Look at the whole Konfabulator BS. Konfabulator makes for great screenshots. But ya can't make anything with it. You are totally at the mercy of other people. I really miss DesktopX. I could create my own stuff with DesktopX. I don't suppose there's any plans for a DesktopX for the Mac?
In the meantime, is there any chance for supporting mac programs? I know It's WINcustomize but..help!
