It's not from Stardock. It's almost certainly a spoofed e-mail. And the whole thing is unrelated to Stardock Central.

Why does your thread title say Stardock Central caused the problem, if it came in an email?
Sounds like the email wasn't 'really' from Stardock. (like the emails I get from myself) Did you check the headers before you opened it? You have to be very careful what you open these days.

Here a thread discussing the removal of swizzor

If a Wizop who's affiliated with Stardock says it didn't come from them then you can be quite sure it didn't.

It was highly likely spoofed/crafted to look like it did so you'd reply with your details..

from stardock to vertify my stardock account.

Ist clue.
Jafo makes sure all spelling is correct. Ergo not Stardock.

Try installing antivirus software which scans e-mail on arrival. AVG is free and does the job

Stardock sends those e-mails on request only, so yours was definitely a spoof. You can stop this kind of e-mail while its still on the server. A good program for this is mailwasher http://www.firetrust.com/ which allows you to delete mail before it ever gets to you.

Fuzzy Logic: As far as I know Stardock does not ever send, under any circumstances, an email requesting you to verify your account. What they will send, upon request, is your Stardock.net account information and serial numbers for the products you have purchased. I think this is what you meant to convey.
