After 9/11, Madrid and now London I hope that the international response to these inhuman terrorist acts will not be to banalize them . There is no acceptable excuse for the random extinguishing of life. We shall annihilate them in the end. All my prayers and condolescences go out to England. We're with y'all guys!

My condolences to the people of London. I hope that this tragedious event does not pass by the international community unnoticed. These terrorists are telling us that they are still alive and fighting for their inhuman causes. We must act quickly to end more killings of inocent people, in light of the G8 conference and of the 2012 Games.

Condolences to all those in British Isles.
They were there for us after 911.
I know we are going to provide whatever we can to help them now.

We will certainly be there to help eliminate the cowardly dogs who did this.

6-plus terrorist bombs were detonated in London today

Not to diminish the attack in any way but there were "only" four (4) confirmed explossions; 3 in the tubes and one on a doubledecker.
The confussion about how many explossion actually occurred came about due to people traveling by tubes emerged from the horror in several different stations.

But still, that doesnt decrease the horror in any way these poor people must have gone through. And yes, the attack must indeed have been carried out by some cowardly group/persons.

I was adjusting the TV antenna and I almost shat my pants when I heard the news as I turned on the TV. (Early Thursday afternoon, CET)
Let's just say that the antenna is still laying where I left it - never have I switched the satellite reciever that fast.

Let's all hope the responsible people behind these attacks are caught soon and brought to justice!

Stand by our friends in London. Pray for the victums and there families. For every terrorist attack is committed, millions of people around the world will stand stronger. This will be the downfall of the terrorist. Terrorist are cowerds. They hav'not the guts to fight it out on the battle field hand to hand.

I am proud of the English and there Prime Minister for there bravery on this sad day. God Bless.

Things I am thankful for

...the mess to clean after a party
because it means I have been surrounded by friends.

...the taxes I pay
because it means that I am employed.

...the clothes that fit a little too sung
because it means I have enough to eat.

...my shadow who watches me work
because it means I am out in the sunshine.

..a lawn that needs mowing,
windows that need cleaning
and gutters that need fixing
because it means I have a home.

...the spot I find at the far end of the car park
because it means I am capable of walking.

...al the complaining I hear about our government
because it means we have freedom of speech.

...my huge heating bill
because it means I am warm.

...the piles of laundry and ironing
because it means my loved ones are nearby.

...weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day
because it means I have been productive.

...the alarm that goes off in the early hours of the morning
because it means I am alive.

...the friends and family I can share this message with
to remind us all what is important in life and more.

Sorry if it doesn't apply to you, but I think it's nice to read when people might be low

I have to correct Lantec. Dogs require provocation to attack. Dogs attack only when necessary. Dogs kill to eat. Terrorists are not dogs; naming them thusly only demeans dogs everywhere with twice the civility. Terrorists are the most subhuman lifeform that I can think of and I only hope that the English can rise above the bastard-esque actions of these bantlings.

I was at work when I heared the news. Can't say I was surpriced. I've talked with my mates in England sometimes about terror attacks in England. And everyone expected it to come. The Underground beeing the most likely target. I've thought about it when I've taken the underground. Very hard to control, even thought they take great care to make sure unattended items are removed.
I'm currently back home in Norway for the summer, working. My first thought was "it came", then a little later I started thinking of who I knew who might be there. One of my mates live in London, not the centre, but in London anyway. I had also heard that the phone lines where down. I sent some texts anyway. Fortunatly I got one text back, from my mate nearest London. He was all right.
The people in London has lived with the threat of bombs before due to IRA, but in the recent time it's been fine. And now a new threat appear. Well, the threat has been there for a while, but they finally hit.
It's a big shame. Makes you want to go and live in solitude far into the mountains and disassosiate yourself with the rest of the word. It's a big fat joke. The kind that isn't funny.

To all of you in London, and to all of the relatives and friends, I wish you the very best in this times and I am sorry for you. I am confident that this will not break you. It didn't in the past and I've been in England long enought to know it won't change now either. Peace!

Perhaps he should have phrased it as "Rabid Dogs"...Even then it gives rabid dogs a bad name. The great nation of England will, as always, come through this with the grace and dignity she has always shown.

I was in London in September '73 ....and had to pass the billboards outside the tube stations warning to look out for suspicious packages....[IRA] ... following bombings way back then.

Nothing much changes, does it?  32 years later and I'm now 50 rather than 18 [I turned 19 while in London...still can't remember the pub-crawl]...and more terrorism.

Oz is determining whether to send the SAS back into Afghanastan shortly...so again the Land Downunder will be viewed as a target.....probably not a clever idea to party on in Bali for a while.

One of the poor sods who was exitting Kings Cross as the bomb went off....he commented via phone....he'd also just exitted the Sari Club in Bali...just as that one went off.  It's probably a good time for him to just stay at home....

Please accept my heart felt condolences .......... I find myself lacking the proper words to express my feelings about this. Suffice it to say I am quite angry. If I could, I would personally strangle the bastards that did this.

This senseless and despicable act goes to show these mongrels are the lowest form of life. I am not only saddened at the injuries and needeless loss of life, but infuriated at perpetrators inhumanity to mankind. May each and every one of them draw their last breath, sooner and not later.

As an ex-pat Brit, I'm more than touched by this tragic event as I have friends and relatives who still live there. Hopefully none of them have been harmed, and my condolences to all those who have been needlessly affected
