Poker Game Becomes Fourth Game for New Division

MTV and their new gaming division, MTV Games, have announced their plans to promote the Texas Hold'em game Stacked With Daniel Negreanu along with the developer Myelin Media. The news comes just a week after MTV Games' formation and announcement that they will be teaming with Midway on three upcoming games, for unannounced platforms. Midway is run by Sumner Redstone, the corporate chairman of Viacom, which owns MTV.
Myelin Media plans to release Stacked to the masses on October 4th, 2005 with a media blitz from the companies. MTV and Myelin will promote the title with on-air, online, mobile and other advertisements and MTV.com will serve as the games home domain, hosting tournaments, pro challenges and community features.
Stacked will feature stiff competition in the poker market, Activision recently announced a licensing agreement with Harrah's to develop games based on the World Series of Poker Tournaments.
