The Screen Actors Guild may once again reverse its stance with the game industry because their contract is now going up for a vote. As you may have heard, SAG previously rejected the already accepted agreement with game publishers. Now SAG decided to let its members vote on the topic, and has sent referendums to its good standing members. Along with the vote comes an extension for the current contract until July 31st.
As the contract stands now, voice actors receive a minimum of $556 per four hour session with the new agreement raising that to $759 per session by 2008. The referendum is due back July 28th, so stay tuned to find out what happens in this ongoing saga.
