A Dangeruss project

...has begun...

The Dangeruss project is now underway.  Russ Schwenkler, one of the all time great skinners has consented to let us update his entire library of WindowBlinds skins to use the latest/greatest features.  And the person doing the update it one of today's greatest skinners, Mike Bryant.   Already, two skins are done. Envision and Liquid 2.  For the rest of the summer, you will see Dangeruss Skins being updated bringing the best of Russ's classic style with MikeB's state-of-the-art talent.

Any chance of making windowblinds themes to match some of Russ's stunning Hoverdesk theme's (like NASA for instance)? I've looked at those for years and always thought "IF ONLY".

Yes, the skinning handiwork by Dangeruss was what
inspired me to get into the GUI business too.

Any chance Dangeruss can shed some light on what
is going on with Hoverdesk at the moment?

The site hasn't been maintained for many years now.

Is the product dead?
It would be a shame...

Hoverdesk is very much alive. Just last week a select few recieved the latest beta so I wouldnt be surprised if Thibaud has something up his sleaves

As I have mentioned numerous times before, Thibaud has been very busy offline and therefore havent been able to do much about HvD.
But I think we're able to see some light at the end of the tunnel now.

I can't think of a better person to update these than Mike. Like it's been mentioned above, it's the likes of Russ who got me into skinning.

Nice.

(..which reminds me how many of mine I should be updating! I seem to remember promising to bring the rest of my library up to date. Maybe after the holidays.)

Dangeruss was actually my main reason for investing in Window Blinds many, many moons ago. I've always loved the program, but twas DR who won me over with his skins way back when.

Great stuff, glad to see his work carrying on with the finest skinning program there is..
