I turned off the background music, now can't get it back on.

I clicked on the x box on the audio/video options window to turn off the background music. Now it won't turn back on when I click on that same box.Saving and reloading the game brings back the background music.

This still happens after a complete install/install.

To get the background music back on you have to save the game, close GC2, and start up again.

there no background music playing at all in my copy it may be species related tho as sofar I only been human

Be sure you have downlaoded the multimedia pack also.

have done, the only music I have is on the main menu but I found out that the music goes off and doesnt come back on when you go into options menu

The problem I posted as the origin of this trhead still happens on 4D. Only reloading a game gets the background music back on.
