VU Games Rumored To Buy Swordfish Studios

MCV has reported that Vivendi Universal Games is close to purchasing yet another independent developer. VU Games has recently acquired Radical Entertainment (The Simpsons: Hit & Run, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction) and Swingin' Ape Studios (Starcraft: Ghost, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System) and has reportedly begun the process of purchasing Swordfish Studios (Cold Winter, World Championship Rugby). MCV claims that an official announcement from Swordfish should be coming within 48 hours. Swordfish Studios is based out of Birmingham, UK and is currently working on Brian Lara International Cricket for Codemasters.
