Metaverse Submission problem in 1.05

I just upgraded from 1.03 to 1.05 and played a game on a medium map and achieved a military victory. The end game screens mentioned that my score was great and it would be the envy of others on the metaverse 
Anyway, as I clicked thru the end game stats and finished with them I expected to go to the old metaverse submission screen. But I didn't, I went right to the main menu. I reloaded the endgame save and the same thing happened. So then I went to the metaverse and checked out my stats and sure enough my game was not logged.
Does anyone know why this might be?
My connection has gone from Cable to DSL recently if that might make any difference.
