Longbow Digital Arts has launched the site for Hegemony: Philip of Macedon, a game based on the rise of Philip of Macedon, father of Alexander the Great. No detailed information has been released yet, but the site does boast some screenshots, a short video of the RTS in action, a bunch of history on the game's background and opening information on its aspects, such as resource management.
Longbow seems to be pretty proud of the "innovative 3D landscape engine" that they have designed for the title which creates the game's maps from "satellite DEM data and combines battle and strategy within the same unified 3D world." The screenshots and video were both created to show off what the engine can do. Release date, price and platforms are still unannounced so stay tuned for more information.
